The group was composed of Ishmael “Butterfly” Butler (from Seattle), Craig “Doodlebug” Irving (from Philadelphia), and Mary Ann “Ladybug Mecca” Vieira (from Washington, D.C.). They made one of the best Hip Hop albums of all time. The song in this blog is one of their most famous songs that they created. It won the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance by a Duo or Group in 1994. This song is how Hip Hop takes different forms of music and integrate it together and make good sounds. If you never heard them you need to check them out. My favorite verse in this song is the second verse.
